Braham Glasgow '13 Recruiting Profile

     With the arrival of my senior year, and college just around the corner, I have defined concrete goals that I wish to accomplish in college.  I have chosen a major leading to a doctor of medicine, I am determined to maintain a level of high academic standards, and I have decided to pursue my dream of competing in college soccer.
     I have striven to be a doctor for a large portion of my life.  I have family that is in the field of medicine that inform me and support me.  I constantly strive to help others, and I enjoy the fulfillment of doing so.  I have done a lot of research and extra activities that lead me to believe that becoming a doctor is the correct choice for me, starting with a degree in Biology.  But college may offer other career options that I find more gratifying, so I will keep an open mind. 
     Academics have always been the most important aspect of high school to me.  Above sports and socializing, I wish to be the best student that I can be.  I am proud to be one of the top students in my class and find it very rewarding to meet the standard of exellence that I have set for myself.  It is my goal, that while in college, I will hold myself to the same, if not higher, standards of academic success.
     Becoming a collegiate student athelete has always been a dream of mine, one that I have tried very hard to make a reality.  I am now entering the final year of high school, and my last season of a high school soccer player.  I hope that all the practice, all the victories, and all the defeats have prepared me to be a contender for a spot on a college soccer field.  I have always worked hard, and will continue doing so to meet and exceed the requirements of any coaching staff, and will do so regarding them with the utmost respect.
     To summarize, I intend to confirm I am traveling the best career path for me, take full advantage of the college learning environment, and push myself to earn my place on a college soccer team.
