High School Highl...Personal Statement
I make an impact on and off the field. As a student, I have never gone below a 3.25 and I have always been on the honor roll throughout High School. I make an impact in the community by committing alot of my free time into doing volunteer service hours. I do most of my service in after-school programs helping kids with homework. I've commited numerous service hours every year since Sixth Grade serving the Community. Every since I was six years old, I have played the beautiful game of soccer and have not been able to put it down. Sophomore year, I (I was 15 YO) played club soccer for the Columbus Crew Juniors. I should've been on the U16 team, but I was placed on the U17 team and I was also asked to play for the U18-U19 black team at the same time. As of now, I play for Barcelona United and I have been placed on the U18 Academy even though i should've been on a U17 team by age. As a defender, I am very offensive minded and my speed lets me perform overlapping plays with the Outside Midfielder and also as an Outside Back extremely well. My collegiate goals are to make a major impact in not only the soccer program, but the community as a whole. I also am very interested in playing Division I, II and III ball with dreams of playing Pro. I am the on field Coach for my teams because of my understanding of the game. I dedicate 110% to my team and to my play. I love to win, and if we don't win I feel we should learn something that will improve our next game.
