Caden Johns '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Caden Johns, I am 15 years old and a sophomore at Newberg High School. According to my parents, I've been kicking a soccer ball around since the first week I could walk. I play year-round club soccer for Westside Timbers 06B in Sherwood, OR. I have a strong passion for soccer and a desire to become the best player I can be. In addition to soccer, I play basketball, baseball, and run track. My biggest strengths are my leadership skills, coachability, and willingness to never give up. Throughout my career, I have predominantly played in the midfield or defensive line, however I am a very versatile player with experience in every role.

Soccer is my passion, however I am more than just an athlete. In the academic field, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA with the addition of enrolling in AP US History.  I am dedicated on the field, in the classroom, and in the weight room. I volunteer in my community, helping Special Olympics and other charities within my community.

My plan is to further my education in college, and to achieve greatness on the soccer field.
