I am looking for a college where I can study engineering and continue playing competitive soccer. I was recently named Oregon State 4A High School "Player of the Year" after leading my team to the 2021 state finals, winning the Oregon State 4A championship with a season record of 17-1. I scored 30 goals and had 7 assists over the season, with at least 1 goal in every game. I have been a Varsity starter all 4 years in high school and have played club soccer for various teams since U10. What sets me apart is my determination to win and the ability to make it happen. Over my club and high school career, I have shown that I am adept at scoring early in the game to give my team the lead, but more importantly, when my team is down, I have an unstoppable drive to find a way to ensure a victory. This drive makes me successful on and off the field, but my coaches have also said that my game intelligence and my strategic instincts set me apart as a player. Over the past 4 season I have battled against some of the best defenders in the state, being in a very competitive league, and have matured in a way that combines my speed, athleticism, intellect, and competitiveness into a dominant soccer player recognized as a goal scoring threat against top teams in the state. In addition to my athletic accomplishments, I am a 4.0 student, ranked #1 in my class, on course to be valedictorian. I am looking for a university that has high expectations for its athletes, and a program where the success in the classroom is valued by the coaching staff.
