Hello, my name is Hudson Temple and I am a student-athlete in the class of 2027. I've played soccer as long as I can remember. Over these many years I've learned countless lessons. The one I try to model after the most is separating myself from other kids and athletes my age. I take pride in being the kid that would rather study and do homework on a Saturday night than party. These choices that I have made to focus on things that can propel my life forward have made me closer with God than I have been in years.
During Covid (in 2020) I saw myself gaining weight and becoming less interested in soccer, and I was unsure whether I wanted to pursue it or not. However, I had a coach that changed my life by teaching me not, "to work hard" but, "how to work hard". This helped me become a better athlete, student, and person. I now expect more of myself and aim to have a 4.0 GPA coming out of high school and a college degree that can give me a future career to pursue, whether I want to use it right away or not.
