My name is Matthew Rotola & I am a center mid-fielder for River Bluff High School & for the U17 SC United ECNL National Team. I will graduate from high school in 2022 & am extremely motivated to continue playing soccer at the collegiate level.
I have always been very focused on maintaining a balance between soccer & academics. My personal goal has always been to work hard to improve my game, while maintaining a high GPA. Some of my soccer accomplishments include: National Finalist at the US Club National Championship, making it past the group stage at the Dallas Cup two years in a row & starting on my varsity high school team as the youngest player. Academically, I currently have a 4.695 GPA & am ranked 73 out of 518 students. I am very interested in attending a college with a strong academic reputation in the field of engineering or business. I am open to either a larger university setting or a smaller college within the southeast. Ideally, my athletic goal would be one where I could continue playing the sport that I love & make an immediate impact early in my career. The qualities that I would bring to a team is the promise to always work hard, to be a loyal teammate & to be a leader.
