Hello! My name is Banks Garrett. I am a Class of 2024 student at Southside Christian School, a college preparatory school in upstate SC, where I am the starting keeper and team captain on the Varsity Men's Soccer Team. I also play for the 2006 Furman United FC team, Jersey #00, where I led my team to a State Cup Championship this fall. I have maintained a 2.97 GPA. My goals are to bring my GPA up above a 3.0 and continue to train and push myself to be ready to play at the highest level.
My dream is to play college soccer while furthering my education at a school that is the right fit for me. The Sabres (high school) are back to back state champs and I was selected for all tournament gold division in the Upstate Kickoff Classic my junior year. I played for Carolina Elite Soccer Academy prior to United FC for 10 years as a goalkeeper. I plan to major in business.
I love to compete and constantly work hard at improving in academics and on the field. I am a person of character, a motivated leader, coachable, hard working and have a good rapport with my teammates and coaches.
