Andrew LaPlaca '24 Recruiting Profile

  Hello coaches I'm Andrew but coaches and colleagues refer to me as "Bacca". I have been playing soccer since I was four years old. Ever since then I fell in love with the game. Since then, my dreams to play collegiately has grown throughout the years. I realize the effort, determination, and pure willpower that is needed to succeed. I plan to do everything in my power to reach this goal.

  I have great reflexes and a wide range of passing skills.  Along with that I've been named a captain for every single club I've played for all being a decision/vote by my teammates. I try to set an example for the rest of my teammates on and off the field as well as being encouraging and offering motivation to my teammates. My personality allows me to be very coachable and a desire to always be better. I am known for my effort and my belief to give 110% in everything you do. Last Season (21'-22' Season) I earned ECNL Texas All Conference 2nd Team and I'm very proud to receive this accolade as a recognition of my effort and hard work over the years.

  I've always stressed school and I understand how important grades are. I study very hard and withhold a 4.0 GPA. I am also very active in my community, serving my school and community with my participation in the National Honor Society as well as earning Academic All District as well as Academic All State honors my sophomore year (21'-22' Season). My mindset is to attend a college where I can challenge myself in both academic and athletic fields. I am open to ALL options and want to ultimately find the college that is the best fit for me, academically and athletically. With that being said I desire to play at the highest level possible, as well as trying to major in the Pre-Med or Exercise Science fields, positively impacting myself and the college of my choice. My sophomore year (21'-22' Season), I earned Academic All District as well as Academic All State honors.
