Joshua Siddiqi '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a junior who started and was team captain on my High School JV team my sophomore season.  Our varsity was loaded with 15 seniors which had a talented group of players. My team had a record of 10-1-3 last season.  We were undefeated my freshman season with a 13-0-1 record. My high school has been regarded as one of the top soccer schools in our region.  I scored 4 goals with 5 assists playing center defensive mid position my sophomore season. I scored 5 goals with 1 assist from my outside midfield position my freshman season.   My 2022 video shows that 3 goals were scored with my left foot and two goals were headers, although I am technically right footed. I consider myself a versatile player and I hate to lose. I have played soccer since I was five years old and love soccer and golf.  I currently play club soccer for FC Richmond at center back and center defensive mid positions and have several goals and assists in competition this year.   I hope to play soccer for a competitive college team with high academic quality.  I'm inspired by my sister who plays and starts D1 in the American Athletic Conference. She has been a great role model for the dedication and effort it takes, athletically and academically.  So far, my academics are in the 4.0 range. Right now, my interests are in government and politics but that could change.
