2022 Highlights Personal Statement
I've been a competitive swimmer since I was around 7 years old. I try to be the most coachable athlete I can. Each practice I try to learn something that will make me better. I work very hard to be the very best teammate possible. I want to be the one that my teammates come to for encouragement. I currently balance my swim workouts with my dryland training, academics, Beta Club, church youth group and personal/family time. I recently transitioned to a new club team - Huntsville Swim Association. I want to go into Pre-Med and eventually become a practicing pediatrician or a pediatric ER doctor. I am in honors classes and am currently ranked 4th out of 187 in my class as of the writing of this statement. My goal is to swim collegiately and represent my school in a way all alumni and previous swimmers will be proud of.
