Personal Statement
Age 8, 100 Yard Freestyle: 1:33.20. Age 16, 100 Yard Freestyle: 47.48. In life and swimming every second counts.
Swimming has been part of my life since I was eight years old. I started swimming on my neighborhood summer swim team and currently swim for the Westport-Weston YMCA on the National team. While swim practices and meets demand an exceptional time commitment I have also maintained a high level of academic excellence. I am an attorney on the Weston High School Mock Trial team placing 2nd in the state. I am the President of the Young Politicians Club and Vice-President of the Fishing Club. Piano lessons and concerts somehow find a way into my busy schedule. Outside of the pool I enjoy spending my time golfing and going on bike rides.
I look forward to swimming at the collegiate level and aim to ultimately swim at the Olympic Trials in 2016.
