Personal Statement
I want to be able to make a name for myself, and I want to do so by outstanding achievement in the classroom and in the pool. I am a hard worker and never shy from a challenge or a chance to prove myself, and I get competitive in the pool and always want to beat the person in the lane next to me. I want to do my best and work harder than I've ever done before to honor my coach Dan Flannery, who recently passed away to an aneurysm, because he made me fall in love with the sport and made me want to be the best ever. Swimming is the only sport I've ever loved, and i would love to keep going into the next stage of my academic career.
