Personal Statement

Swimmers, place your feet...take your marks...BEEP!!!...I feel the rush of water go by...dolphins...breakout...hard into the wall...hard off of the wall...turn and burn the last 25...like a dart to the wall...it was only a 50 backstroke, I was only eight, I won and I was hooked! I have always felt that, for me, the combination of school and swimming go hand in hand. In the classroom, I am a dedicated student with a 4.0 GPA; in the pool, I love both hard workouts and competition. I am looking for a college program that not only challenges me in the pool, but in the classroom as well. A program that will help me take it to the next level.
