Swimming has always been a large part of my life. Whether that be the 6 years of competitive swimming I have done for Riptide Swim Team, or three years of High School varsity swimming at Rosemount High School in Rosemount, Minnesota: I love to swim. I work hard every day I come to the pool and strive to make myself and my team better at every opportunity.
In addition to my swimming, I am very involved in other activities and work hard in school. I am heavily involved in Boy Scouts including four years staffing Grey Wolf NYLT, a program to teach other Scouts how to be better leaders. The fourth year I served in a senior staff position, helping to lead the larger team. In addition, I earned the rank of Eagle Scout. I am also very hard-working in school: I have a 3.8 GPA taking mostly honors, AP, and college level courses. In addition, I am the Safe Sport Representative for my Club swim team which is a position selected by the coaches.
I have wanted to swim in college for a long time, and I hope that you will consider me for your program.
