Personal Statement

Swimming is a driving force in my life.  I look forward to and enjoy my time in the pool and my time for exercise.  It is during these activities that I feel complete.  That is why I have set my goal towards swimming in college.

  • School Year Swim Training: 7 Swim Sessions in the Pool Each Week (Monday to Friday pm, Wednesday am, and Saturday am) - Each Session lasts approximately 2 hours and totals roughly 5,500 yards per practice. Summer Swim Sessions: 2 a Days Monday-Friday and Saturday am practice with each session lasting 2 hours and totaling on average 10,000 Meters per day.

  • Sports Performance - CrossFit Training 3 times per week. School Year Dryland Practice: 5 Sessions per week (2 am sessions and 3 pm sessions) which include strength training/weights, HIIT, Yoga, Running, Biking, and Cardio. Dryland is also incorporated into the Summer Swim Sessions daily for approximately 30 minute sessions. In addition, I also work out at the gym 3 days a week for 1 hour at a time.
