Hello coaches, my name is Ethan Guinaugh. I am a sophomore here at Gloucester County institute of Technology in the electrical program. I became interested in the sport of swimming when I joined my local swim team at the age of four. I am the youngest of 3 and that's how we spent our summers. At that time my favorite stroke was the butterfly. At the young age of four, I was already competitive and determined to win a medal. I've learned over the years through various meets that I am always striving to improve my times and techniques. My favorite aspects of swimming are competing in meets and networking with swimmers and coaches. My academic goals for high school and college are to improve my GPA and develop skills that keep me motivated. I'm excited about continuing my high school swimming career and I'm looking forward to being part of a college swim team. Leadership, teamwork, self-awareness, motivation, and integrity are skills I can bring to my future college swim team.
