My name is Cal Narvaez. I haven't been swimming for long and, as a matter of fact, I just started 3 years ago. I also started playing soccer and lacrosse within the same year. My coaches say that I have a raw talent and that I learn very quickly. Before high school, I belonged to a dance team where I had vigorous training in ballet and all types of dance. I believe my years of training in dance really help with my performance and ability in the pool and with other sports. I have recently given up soccer to join a swimming club team to improve my form and my times. Swimming in college has been a goal of mine ever since freshmen year and I am very committed to the decisions that I make and strive to be better. I take the word "team" very seriously and will continue to work hard to be not only productive but valuable. When given a chance, I believe with good grades and hard work in the pool that I can be an asset to any swimming team.
