I'm a very committed athlete and I don't enjoy anything else more than getting a fantastic practice in. I make sure academics come first though because I'm a "student athlete." I push myself hard everyday at practice so that I can reach my goals that I set. Some people say that failure isn't a good thing but I'm not so sure it's a bad thing because i think it teaches you something. It teaches you to use that as leverage and motivate yourself to succeed in the future.
I first started swimming competitively when I was in 7th grade in 2013. I fell in love with the sport and I can't explain how much compassion I have for it. I have swam for 5 years now and I plan on proceeding to college and swimming there.
Other sports that I have played are baseball, soccer, football, basketball, and track, I played baseball for 4 years, soccer for 3 years, football for 5 years, and track for 2 year. I consider myself as an athlete. I still play track so that it keeps me in shape for swimming. I swim all year in the USA swimming club. I was also a captain of my varsity soccer team and now i am a captain for my varsity swim team. I hope this helps you know how committed to sports I am.
