I began swimming competitively at age 8 and instantly fell in love with the atmosphere and physical benefits. I enjoy pushing myself to new limits in practice every day. I feel as though swimming is an outlet to me for my emotions. I always feel better after getting out of the water regardless of the type of day I am having. I have been told by my coach that I am a natural leader. I enjoy cheering my teammates on and watching them succeed. Having competitive and talented teammates to push me in practice is something I get to experience every day. I look forward to continuing this at the collegiate level. Swimming is the most important thing in my life and there is nothing that would change my mind. Goal setting is an important part of each season and I will do whatever I can to achieve my goals.
