Personal Statement

My goal as a swimmer ever since I was a little kid was to be apart of a college team. I didn't know what I wanted to do, up until about 6 years ago. I started swimming about 6 years ago and instantly fell in love with the sport. I'm always told I'm a great leader in my club, even though I'm only in 10th grade. I'm not only an outspoken leader, but also a silent leader (always knowing pace times, staying on track, etc.) for my club. I am very determined in the pool and my mindset during practice is unlike anyone else's. I focus and get done what I have to get done and do my best to push to failure everyday. I do lots of running (cross country, track and field) and I love playing sports. I have great success outside of swimming, in school. I always push myself to learn new things and get better marks. I am very exited for the next step in my career, and I can't wait to see what comes next.

I competed in 50 butterfly against other swimmers all around the world born in 2008-2010 and I placed 3rd winning my first international medal, I placed 7th in 100 butterfly, 8th in 50 freestyle, and 12th in 100 freestyle. Lastly our relay ended up getting 3rd in the 4×100 freestyle and 4th in the 4×100 medley.

2023 Eastern Canadian Championships
3/15/23 to 3/19/23
I competed in the 16 and under category as a 15 year old in all individual races other than 50 fly where I competed in the open category and placed 43rd. In 100 fly I ended up 16th, and in 50 free i ended up in 25th. Last, but not least I was a part of the 4×100 mixed medly really team who ended up 3rd overall! My first national medal.

Event is a multi-sport championships where athletes between the ages of 12-15 compete for their City/Country. Logan competed in swimming with an 8 person team from Windsor, Ontario, Canada. While there, he placed 7th in 100 fly, 15th in 100 free, 16th in 50 back, and 5th in 50 fly. He was also a part of a 4x100 free relay that placed 4th.

I competed in the 15 and under category as a 14 year old, and placed 19th in 100 fly, and 20th in 50 free.

I competed in the 16 and under category as a 14 year old and placed 28th in 100 fly, 48th in 100 free, 56th in 50 free, and in the 18 and under category I placed 66th in 50 fly.
