Sawyer Jennings '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Sawyer Lane Jennings. I am a Junior at Marion Senior High school, located in Marion Virginia. I began swimming in the 8th grade. I would like to swim in college because I love this sport and would like to swim for as long as possible. I truly love swim because it pushes me to be better, it helps me stay in great shape. Swim is a sport that makes you always compete against yourself and work hard for your team. I would like the opportunity to swim with a college team where I can further my growth in swim. I am a good candidate because I am a fast motivated learner, I work hard to achieve bigger goals, I push myself to get better and better. I enjoy team work and feel that I often am the team leader inspiring my team to do better. I enjoy bringing laughter to the team when everyone needs a "pick me up". My favorite subject is Math and I work hard to keep my grades up in all of my classes. 

I enjoy my Scout troop where we work hard towards community service projects and goals and I understand the importance of the community. In my free time I enjoy Dirt Bike riding, Snowboarding, Water Skiing and spending time my family. 

In my freshman year

*1st place District in my 200 Free, 2nd in Regionals and 9th in State

*1st place District in my 200 Relay & 400 Relay in Districts and Regionals 

*4th Place overall Swim in States. 

In my sophomore year 

*1st place district in the 200 free, 2nd in the 100 back.

*1st place regional in 100 fly, 2nd place in the 100 back 

*3rd place states in the 100 back, 7th place 100 fly

In my junior year

1st place district in 100 scy backstroke, and 200 scy IM

1st place regional in 100 scy backstroke, and 200 scy IM

3rd place state in 100 scy backstroke, and 200 scy IM
