Personal Statement
My college goals are to earn a degree in studying the history of the world and its civilizations. I have been swimming since I was 5 and find myself always at home in the water. I am a hard worker who is always looking to improve my time and even with a shortened swim season was able to qualify for states in the 100 Fly. As a Military child for so many years, I have become more resilient than my peers in adapting to the ever-changing world around me. Having lived in so many places and constantly moving, swimming was my center. The place I could count on no matter where we were.
