Tennis is my passion! Helping the sick is my mission!

I am a brilliant first-generation Filipino American who is ambitious and driven for success. As a junior with a GPA of 4.28 at Antioch Community High School in Antioch, Illinois, I am helping my fellow students succeed in their studies as a Math and English tutor. I am also an active volunteer in the community.

I love playing sports and keeping myself physically active. I am a varsity player on my high school's cross-country and tennis teams. Although I am enthusiastic about winning and competitiveness, I also enjoy meeting new people and making friends. I am very friendly, funny, easy-going, and always willing to try, learn new things, and give my best whether in class or during games. I get along very well with my teammates and my coaches love me. I have no doubts that I will be an impressive, competitive, tenacious, and strong addition to any college tennis team.

When all is said and done in college, I aspire to become a registered nurse (RN). In my heart, I’ve always wanted to take care of the sick, especially children. Being able to help other people gives me joy and a sense of accomplishment.
