I believe that I would be a good fit for college tennis because of my hard work ethic, dedication, and love for the sport. I was first introduced to tennis at five years old and started putting more time toward it as a middle school student and have continued to work hard since that time. I am very good at controlling my emotions and obstacles while maintaining integrity. USTA nominated me twice for my exemplary behavior and outstanding sportsmanship during tournaments. I also won the sectionals doubles title as a freshman and won the singles title as a sophomore. Additionally, I was recognized by our large regional newspaper as “Times Union Athlete of the Year” for 2022.
