My name is Evan Senger, and I am looking forward to sharing my love for tennis with college coaches. I am committed to the arduous work and practice it will take to be a successful college tennis player. I live in a rural Oklahoma town and have been playing competitively for 4+ years. A highlight for me was playing #1 doubles with my twin brother and placing 8th at the state tournament our freshman year. In my sophomore year, I was playing Varsity singles, but our season was cut short due to Covid-19. I finished my junior year in high school by placing 5th at the Oklahoma 4A State Tournament in #1 singles. My loss in the quarterfinals of the 2021 state tournament was to the player that finished 2nd and after that match completed my opponent said, "You will win 5th place". I will be playing USTA, UTR, and ITA tournaments this summer in singles and doubles to help increase my UTR and to gain more match experience. I travel weekly to Oklahoma City for lessons with my coach. At home, I practice daily with my twin brother. It is not only important to me to find a college that is a good athletic fit for me, but also a good academic fit. I am competitive on the tennis court and in the classroom. I understand and value the importance of being a team player and I am ready to contribute any way I can.
