My name is Cory Myers and I am a junior at Campbell County High School in Gillette, Wyoming. Through my 3 years of playing Varsity high school tennis I have developed a passion for the game. Some of the strengths I could bring to a college team are: leadership, positive attitude, and a constant drive to improve my abilities. Being a supportive teammate and giving encouragement to others can help make a team successful, these attributes have always been something I have excelled in. Through any situation I know that a strong positive attitude would also uplift others. I view everyday as a new day to improve my abilities. Taking every practice and workout seriously is also a big factor into this. If the opportunity to get better is presented, I take it. I strive to do my best on the court and and in the classroom. I push myself in challenging classes and still maintain a 3.987 GPA. I am excited and ready to take my tennis to the next level.
