Hunter Kenney '22 Recruiting Profile

My running journey started early. I was a fast kid who ran everywhere. I never really gave it much thought because it was just the way I moved. As I got older, I watched my brother run cross country in high school and I was just dying to get out there and beat him. I knew I could. I started training and at the beginning of my freshman year I decided I would beat his senior time.  That was the first goal I set around running. Now I set them daily. I love the personal challenge that running gives me. I live and train in Colorado which I feel gives me an advantage when I run out of state. I love being part of my team but also like the fact that I can challenge myself during every practice to improve. I know that my hard work and grit pay off in meets and I know I will make a great member of your college team.
