Hello my name is Kaden Gill, I am a Cross Country and Track Runner for Stanley lake High School in Westminster, Colorado. I started running when I was 6 years old with my elementary school running club and discovered my passion for the sport. I continued to run all the way through elementary school and middle school, running for an after school club. Every year since I first started, I have run the Bolder Boulder 10K along with several community 5K's throughout the year. Once I got to High School, I started Cross Country, competing at the JV level for my school. When the season ended, I decided I needed to do a winter sport in order to keep myself in shape, so I did wrestling. As I progressed through Wresting and Track, I managed to maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.8 for my freshman year. Now, in my Junior year, I have decided to quit wrestling in order to pursue being a better runner by joining Indoor track.
Ever since middle school, I have taken pride in my academics and continuously achieve honor roll every year. In high school, I have pushed myself by taking advanced course in the form of AP, IB, and Honors level classes. I college, my goals are to compete at the collegiate level and continue to maintain high academic standards for myself. As a teammate, I always strive to support my teammates by stretching and rolling them after practice, as well as cheering them on in events that I am not competing in. I consider myself a good sportsman by talking to and encouraging my competitors after our races.
I look forward to joining a college program and becoming the best student athlete I can be.
Thank you
- Kaden Gill
