One aspect that sets me apart as a student-athlete is my commitment to maintaining a high academic standard. I currently hold a cumulative GPA of 3.6, and I am proud to share that I have achieved a 4.0 GPA for the current semester. My dedication to excelling both on and off the field is a testament to my work ethic and ability to balance the demands of academics and athletics.
As an athletic goalkeeper, I have always been commended for my coachability and willingness to learn. I take pride in continuously improving my skills and adapting to the evolving nature of the game. During my freshman year, I lettered in soccer, showcasing my commitment and passion for the sport. I also lettered in basketball during my freshman and sophomore years, demonstrating my ability to excel in multiple sports.
In the pursuit of a healthier social environment, I made the decision to transfer schools last year, which led to me not playing soccer at my previous school during my sophomore season. This experience allowed me to grow personally and refocus on my love for soccer, which I am eager to bring to add as part of your team.
My soccer journey has included participation in high-level club environments, such as the Olympic Developmental Soccer Team. I was invited to be a part of their travel squad, highlighting my talent and potential as a goalkeeper. For the past two years during my club soccer experience, I played up in age groups, demonstrating my ability to compete at a higher level. Notably, with the Colorado Rapids, I played with the U19 girls' team while I was only U17, competing at the P3 level. During this same year, I also played on a U17 team where I split time as a keeper and striker. Even with splitting time, I was tied for the team lead in goals scored. Currently, with the Denver Kickers, I am the only junior player amongst all seniors on the team, and we play at the elite level.
I also played on our varsity team at Standley Lake High school. We had a great season and advanced to the great 8 stage in the 5A classification. After the season, I was awarded as an 2024 Academic All State Honorable Mention award in basketball on a team that advanced to the Great 8 stage in the 5a state playoffs
