I have been running Cross Country for 4 years. I also ran Indoor Track for 2 and Outdoor Track for 3 years. I love to run. I also have a 2nd degree Black Belt in Taekwondo. I taught kids with special needs Taekwondo until March of my junior year when the gym closed. I decided to add in Indoor because having something year round seemed to help me focus better on homework. Last Spring I also helped with the Athletics team in New Milford, CT for Special Olympics. I like working with others who have disabilities because I also have a disability. I have mild Cerebral Palsy on my right side as well as ADHD and High Functioning Autism. I will be studying Political Science and Pre-Law because I want to become a lawyer and work with other who face challenges in life whether it is physical or mental. I am not the fastest runner but I do love running as part of a team. My teammates at Brookfield High School have always been there for me like an extended family. Even though it may take me longer to get things done I will never give up. I will be attending Florida Southern College this fall.
