Personal Statement
My coach can confirm that I am enthralled by track and have dedicated countless hours to the pursuit of continually bettering my efforts. I train hard on and off the track, often turning my backyard into an impromptu shot put field and drawing out a discus ring in my driveway when I do not have enough time to go to the track. As a junior, I went to the 2019 Florida High School Track & Field State Championships and was sixth in the State for the discus throw as well as thirteenth in the shot put. I take well to coaching and have improved my throws greatly over the last year with a 10 meter improvement in the discus throw and a 2 meter improvement in the shot put. I can put in the hard work and I have the persistence and determination to succeed at a collegiate level; I am certain that over the course of my collegiate track and field career I can grow into an athlete that will further your program.

- ActivitiesEstablished and oversaw the first Live Streaming program for school sporting events (through youtube) in Levy County. The program allows students at Cedar Key to pursue passions in telejournalism by giving play-by-play and color commentary opportunities that are otherwise absent, Jr. Researcher for DiBari&Associates, where I compile Request for Qualifications on MyCafe and PublicArtist.org for public art installations on behalf of DiBari&Associates (also tasked with scouting possible new associates), Started the first school Instagram in Levy County in order to reach the student population more efficiently and directly, Initiated and executed an engraved brick fundraiser to buy equipment for the Livestream and to fund the Journalism programs, Captain of the school's Hi-Q team (2017-19) where I led the team to the Regional competition for the 2017-18 year as well as to the District semi-finals in the 2018-19 year.
