My name is Schaughn, and I am driven by a dual passion for athletics and urban development. At 16 years old, currently a junior at Design and Architecture Senior High with a focus on architecture, I am committed to pursuing excellence in both my academic and athletic endeavors.
Track and field, particularly sprinting events, have instilled in me a mindset of relentless determination and perseverance. I believe that achieving success in any endeavor requires unwavering dedication and a commitment to continuous improvement. This philosophy drives me to excel not only on the track but also in my academic pursuits.
While my initial interest lies in urban planning, I aspire to leverage my education and skills to make a meaningful impact as a real estate developer. My fascination with the built environment and its potential for transformation fuels my ambition to create vibrant and sustainable communities that enhance the quality of life for residents.
My family's roots in Costa Rica have shaped my worldview and inspired my desire to contribute positively to the development of communities, both locally and globally. Living in Miami has provided me with valuable insights into urban dynamics and the importance of thoughtful planning in shaping the future of cities.
As I prepare for the next phase of my academic and professional journey, I am seeking a university that offers a comprehensive urban planning program while also providing opportunities to explore the world of real estate development. I am eager to immerse myself in a diverse and dynamic learning environment where I can cultivate the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue my aspirations.
