Personal Statement
My goals are to be the best student and athlete I can possibly be in high school and college. I focus hard on athletics and although not the most academically gifted student, I try my best to maintain good grades while keeping throwing for track and field at the top of my priorities. I consider myself a good athlete not because I am good at my sport, but because I truly care for my team and helping others with their events. I often teach athletes on my team in discus if I see that they have some improper form and are struggling. I am very interested in weight lifting as well as practicing for discus and the time I put into the two combined are around 3 hours a day (5 days weightlifting, 6 days throwing.)
