Hello, my name is Julia Frey. I am a 6'0" Middle and Outside Hitter for Teutopolis High School and Teutopolis Volleyball Club. I grew an interest in volleyball in 4th grade and since then have loved the sport. I started playing for my school as a 6th grader and now am a Junior starter for the varsity team. I believe that I bring passion and drive to every game and practice and that I'm deeply committed to making myself the best volleyball player I can be. Academically, I work very hard to put forth as much effort in my studies as I do in athletics. I am a 4.0 student standing at 10 out of 89 in my class. I take pride in doing as much as I can for my community, like volunteering. I am currently a member of a club called Volunteens, where the students go out and help with community activities. I also participate in Spanish Club, compete with my school's math team, and am in the Teutopolis Math League. I am a second-year member of National Honors Society. My goals after high school are to continue playing volleyball and further my education. I currently have not decided my major, but I am extremely interested Physical Therapy or Dermatology. My faith is extremely important to me, and I serve in my church as a Eucharistic Minister. I come from a small village in Central Illinois with a population of fewer than 2,000 people, and I look forward to using this experience to meet new people and see what life is like in larger cities. Thank you for your consideration!
