Personal Statement
The first time I ever took on the art of running was when I was 6 in the 1st grade. Every Thursday after school my dad and I would run a 3k. My first time for the 3k was shy of 30 minutes. And although I was bawling my eyes out during that run, and my mom worried about my health, I still told them that I still wanted to run. And every Thursday I would get better and better progressively. That was 11 years ago, and I've had an insane journey to be where I am today. I aspire to reach the Olympics one day and represent my country, Tunisia. As you can see from my transcripts, studying is the priority, followed by running. I am very proficient in both aspects, and I'm constantly an optimistic person with good intentions. I severely differ from other recruits with my unstoppable resilience and grit to improve.
Thank you for your time.
