Personal Statement

My ultimate goal is to break the 4 minute mile. I only truly got serious about my running last winter, headed into my junior year of track. With some winter training I was able to shave 15 seconds off my time. I hope to have similar results this year and break a 4:10 1600, which would be a state meet record. I qualified for state track both sophomore and junior year, with a 7th place finish in the 1600 my junior year. I'm aiming for 1st this spring!
