My biggest college goal is to get a good education from whichever school I go to. I really want to succeed in athletics and will work hard every day to make myself the best I can possibly be while maintaining high grades and obtaining knowledge.
I am an extremely dedicated athlete. After competing in cross country in the fall, wrestling in the winter and both track and soccer in the spring during my freshman year, I decided to narrow down my sports to my favorite ones and focus on training for the sports that I would like to compete in during college. I train for 1-3 hours per day and do what is needed to better myself and my teammates in our events. I love running amazing times in individual events, but I also love the thrill of being part of a relay and putting in my best effort for my teammates.
I had great freshman XC and track seasons, and I have already begun to improve those times early in the season. I managed to PR by 16 seconds in the middle of the season. During high school, I have received A's in all of my courses. I study for every test I get and do all of the necessary work to make sure I understand the material. I am also a great leader in class and on the running teams. I have helped anyone new to the sport learn how to train and make them feel welcome at practice, regardless of age. I love showing my passion for running and sharing it with others so that they may develop the same love for the sport that I have.
