Dear Coaches,
I have been running distance since middle school. I've never thought I was great at it until I broke our middle school 3200 meter record. At that point, that helped me lean towards running cross country instead of playing football in high school. I had a successful cross country season with a personal best of 17:24.50 which also became our new freshman record at my high school! Also, I was the fastest Kansas Freshman in 3A this cross country season! With knowing I need good grades to run in college, I have always had a 4.0 GPA all throughout middle and into high school. I feel like I'm very involved in lots of things like 4-H, FFA, and Choir. 4-H and FFA have made me become who I am today by learning how to speak in front of audiences and be leader who will carve a path for others to follow. I always give 100% effort and I can't wait for my hard work I've put in to pay off during outdoor track and field season!
