Having completed my first year of high school, I have adjusted to the rigor of an honors schedule (including 2 AP courses). As a freshman, I lettered in three varsity sports (track, wrestling and football). As a sophomore, I plan to focus solely on track and football. I am preparing myself academically and athletically for college. My dream is to attain a scholarship to a great track and field school. I hope to throw shot and discus, and perhaps play football at the collegiate level. I have received my schools highest character honor two years in a row. My coaches have always complimented my work ethic, dedication, ability to work well with team mates and coach-ability.
I speak Mandarin Chinese and Spanish (working towards fluency in both) in hopes of being trilingual when I graduate high school. I love the outdoors, fishing and hunting. I also play guitar and sing. I have presented at multiple venues, advocating for my brother and others with disabilities. This year I became lifeguard certified and worked as a lifeguard for the entire summer. I volunteer at the local Goodwill store.
My passion in life is to be a great brother to Trent, who has Autism and other conditions. Trent is my 20 year old brother and he along with my parents and our families journey has greatly shaped who I am.
Sincerely,
Zane Biever
