I've always wanted to push myself to that next level to impact the world around me. For academics, I want to be the first in my family to go to college and hopefully use my degree to put my name in the history books. However, I'm already making history in my family by being the first to pass 10th grade. For athletics, I want to be a model like Steve Prefontaine who always believed in leading the pack and never stealing the race last second. I strive to be inspirational to people who don't think they have what it takes. I might not be the fastest or smartest person in the world, but I want to be an example that no matter what your background is, you truly can be your best self.
