Hello all, my Name is Hamza Ali. I currently attend Washburn Senior High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I started running track season of my eighth grade year in 2012, but I didn't start to take it seriously until the spring of my freshman year. Since then I have devoted countless hours trying to improve myself and make up for lost time. I am hoping to run in college at the DI or DII level, and I am willing to do anything to get there. If I could choose between the two, I would go DI because I like the competitive atmosphere that accompanies it. I am pretty coachable, but I have my moments which make it kind of hard, and I usually ask to do more in the workouts, which can probably get annoying. I am in the IB program that is offered at Washburn and am currently taking 2 IB HL classes, and two IB SL. I enjoy meeting new teammates and I try my best to stay motivated and help motivate others. I'm also good with comic relief and cheering people up when they have bad races.
