As a cross country runner and student, I am very dedicated and self-driven. I am always looking for ways to improve. I believe that I am extremely coachable and will do and perform anything asked of me in practice and/or in class.
I first began junior high looking for a fall sport to participate in and since I was too small to play football. I have always enjoyed running, I decided to join my junior high school's cross country program. After my first race, I fell in love with the sport. I have now been running cross country for 6 years and have become a leader on the varsity team. I became a leader of the team by showing up everyday during summer conditioning and putting in the hard work, never complaining and always encouraging teammates to finish strong. I enjoy encouraging and supporting the younger runners during practice. It is great to see the team as a whole improve. I feel I am just starting to hit my stride because of my recent growth spurt. I work hard and will always give 100% to all the activities and sports in which I participate and compete in.
In the classroom I am focused and determined to always do my best and put 100% into all homework assignments, projects and tests. I am an honors student, unfortunately, my current high school does not offer AP courses.
I am extremely dedicated to everything I set my mind to. I promise to always give 100% effort and perform to the best of my ability.
