Personal Statement

I have learned as a pitcher to be successful. Your foundation has to be built with heart, physical strength and mental understanding. Mentally you strategize, react, self talk, repeat and more during a game. Physically you perform, react, push, repeat and more. With heart you tie all 3 together. Mentally when the the game is hard. The heart will remind you to stay focus and find a way. Physically when your body is wearing down and you’re not sure how many more pitches you can throw. The heart will bring you that second burst of energy to fight. Softball gave me this lesson not only to be the pitcher I want to be. But to get through every day life.
