My sports passion is Track & Field. I started competing as a Middle Schooler in 7th grade as a sprinter. My events are the 55, 100, 200 and the 4 x 100. The spring 2019 I was recruited to join the Trenton Track Club, an AAU team. I competed in the outdoor District Meet and qualified for Regionals in NYC and then Nationals in Greensboro, NC. I started competing in the 2019-2020 indoor season before the Meets were cancelled due to the pandemic. I competed in 2020-2021, 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 season. In Summer 2023, I competed as part of NorthStars Elite TC. We competed in Club Nationals 2023 in Orlando, Florida. I ran in the 4x100m (3rd leg), which placed first in the finals with a time of 40.69. I have also competed in Track & Field at a High School Varsity level since Freshman year. My PRs are: 55m - 6.63, 100m - 10.93, 200m - 22.38. This summer I joined the AAU NorthStars Elite Track Club and will be competing at AAU Club Nationals 2023 in Florida.
My athletic foundation was established by football. Football has taught me a lot that I use both on and off the field. The Lawrence Junior Cardinals team motto, "Hard Work Pays Off!" motivates me to do my best. I have played football since I was 7 years old on the Lawrence Junior Cardinals, which is part of the West Jersey Youth Football League (WJYFL). For 5 years I played offensive line and defensive line. A major turning point in my football career came at the end of the season in 2016. My coaches recognized my speed and fierceness on the field and played me up from the 115's to the 135's in the playoff games. When I started running the ball the following season I got Most Valuable Player (MVP). I continued to develop my skills as a Runningback and I got Offensive Player of the Year in 2018 and 2019. We won the 2019 North Division Championship and I ended the season with 14 touchdowns, 1,284 rushing yards, and 1 interception. I am known for being hard working, coachable and a good communicator. Today, in the middle of this pandemic I continue to work hard. I bought training equipment to do drills that improve my speed, agility and build; and I train daily. When the season started my coaches told me I was going to be on varsity. The third game they put me in on kick return in the 4th quarter. I was able to get a 83 yard TD. The game after that I was starting as a freshman. I have continued to compete and start at a Varsity level. in my Junior year (2022-2023), I ran a 100 Yard Kickoff Return, which is the longest in School History and broke a record that had stood since 1973.
