My name is Colin Kummings and I am a student athlete at Mainland Regional High School, class of 2025. Track is my main sport, but throughout high school I have also played basketball and competed on the surf team. I have a weighted GPA of 5.204, a primary SAT score of 1420, and I have passed all 4 AP tests that I have taken. I am the President of the National Junior Honor Society at my school, and I am a large part of several other clubs. I run have a 110-meter-high hurdle PR of 15.64 seconds on mile split, and my PR for a hand-timed race is 15.00 seconds. I can jump 6'1 in the high jump, and I have completed a pentathlon. Being a multi is something that I would definitely be interested in at the college level. I believe that what sets me apart from all other people and athletes is my strong discipline and hard work. No matter the day, no matter how I am feeling, I will show up and put all my effort into whatever it is that I am doing. This is what makes me such a successful and well-rounded student athlete. My goal for the future of my academic and athletic career is to be the best I can at whatever it is that I am doing, and to leave a positive impact on the people and places that I interact with.
