Personal Statement
Growing up in South Jersey, an area where lacrosse is relatively new, I have been strongly influenced by higher competition when traveling to tournaments and camps. When I play against a good team and see another fierce competitor like myself, I strive to shut them down and work extremely hard to play better than that person. I was introduced to lacrosse in third grade, and realized by eighth grade, I wanted to play in college. Through playing Lacrosse over many seasons, showcases, and tournaments, I have learned that I will never give up or stop trying to get better, because there is always something I can improve. My biggest goal is to find a college where I can compete athletically and excel academically. I will continue to work towards this goal by practicing and perfecting my skills and focusing on my studies.
