Personal Statement
My name is Isaiah Reifschneider and I am 6'0, 225 lbs. I played defensive end, offensive tackle, and long snapper. I am now focusing on track & field and throwing. The two major influences on my life have been my uncle and my grandfather. Both are Marine Corps. veterans and I was brought up with discipline and respect. I learned that nothing in life is handed to you; you have to work hard every day.
Football has been my passion for more than six years. I developed a passion for throwing when a football coach pushed me to try another sport during the off-season. Both sports have taught me that passion can drive you the most. I can do so many things I did not think I could do before.
I strive to maintain the same passion in my school life. My academic goals for high school are to maintain a 3.5 GPA and to be the hardest working person in my class. As I transition from high school to college, I hope to continue working hard as a student, to expand my knowledge of different subjects, and to build myself as an athlete.
