I take pride in the progression I’ve made on both the track and in the classroom. I started my high school track career in sophomore year, running 61 in the 400m, 1:37 in the 600m and without any hurdle experience. Through hardwork and the satisfaction of progression I was able to run a 56 400h a year later. This thirst for progress has led me to attend IMG for my senior year, where I plan to use every resource available to me. My goals for this year are sub 14.4 in the 110 hurdles and sub 53 in the 400h. Similar to my track progression, I started freshman year with a 3.0 GPA. However I knew I could improve. By junior year using new found study skills and habits I was able to take 4 honors classes and 2 AP courses with a 3.7 GPA at one of the countries most competative high schools. I hope both where I started and where I am today can exemplify the hours of hard work I’ve put into becoming better.
