I have been playing track for a short while, only starting when I was in highschool as a runner. For some sophomore year and all of junior, I was introduced to javelin and excelled at it right awat. I would love the opportunity improve my skill and to play at the collegiate level.
In college, I want to be able to go to a school where I can pursue a medical or science degree of some sorts while still being active in sports. I want coaches to know that I am a hard working individual. Whether it be on the field or in my classrooms, I always do the best possible job that I can do. I feel that this trait gives me the means to excel over other candidates and makes me stick out above the rest. Coaches should also know that I am a team player and that I will sacrifice myself before I even ever think to sacrifice the well being of my team.
