I believe I am your next best athlete. My 1600m improved from 5:02 (2016) to a PR of 4:51 (2017). My 3200m went from a 11:13 (2016) to a 10:41 (2017). My 5K improved from a 22:43 (2014), 18:59 (2015), 17:51 (2016) and now 17:25 (9/16/2017). My record demonstrates I get faster every year.
My senior year will be spent continuing to lower my 5K into the 16's and distance track events times to a sub-4:30 1600m and a sub-10 3200m. I will continue to improve and show how that will benefit your college CC and track team in Fall 2018. I know I'm competitive, and have much more to give under the right coaching staff and support of team.
I've always been considered, "Very coachable" by my running mentors. I strive to do what they ask of me and more and listen to what they tell me. I'm not an athlete that says, "No" or, "I won't do that." I possess integrity, character and love of team. I cross-train outside of running seasons by life-guarding in the summers and church league basketball in the Fall. I'm a JROTC cadet and a graduate of the 2017 NJROTC Leadership Academy at The Citadel in Charleston, SC. My grades more than exceed NCAA standards with a 3.5 GPA.
I prefer a smaller school environment (under 10,000 students) so I can receive personal class attention, know my teachers and fellow students. I know I can be of benefit to your college's athletic team. As my times continue to drop, I will update my profile. Thank you for your consideration!
